In countries like India or Bangladesh, a huge portion of the population is dependent on feature phones. In this case, their priority is durability, battery backup and ease of use. For these reasons, Nokia is releasing new versions of their classic feature phone models.
Following this, Nokia has launched two new feature phones. One of them supports the fourth generation or Forge network. The two phones are the revamped versions of Nokia’s two most popular feature phone models. One of them is Nokia 220 Forge and the other is Nokia 105.
Nokia 220 Forge
This is actually a phone powered by Nokia Series 30+ feature phone operating system. So, although there is normal Forge connectivity, for the software and hardware limitation, you will not get the Forge experience like a smartphone, but you can browse the net at a relatively high speed with the pre-installed Opera Mini browser.
The biggest thing is that you will get HD quality voice calling facility through Forge supported. With its 2.4 inch screen, T9 keypad has been given as the input method.
You can download and play Nokia’s famous Snake game as well as some additional games. Apps like Facebook are also installed in it. It also has a camera, MP3 player, FM radio and torch. Its 1200 mAh battery will hold the charge for some time.
Nokia 105
This is the latest version of Nokia’s most popular feature phone Nokia 105. Compared to the Nokia 220, the screen is much smaller, only 1.6 inches. It lacks multimedia features or internet connectivity. However, you can listen to the FM radio.
Moreover, the phone will be able to keep 2000 contacts and 500 SMS. It has a torch as well as some preinstalled games. The phone will be very helpful for those who talk a lot and want a phone just to talk.
