Finnish startup HMD has released a number of Nokia smartphones in the last two years since it received its Nokia license. The biggest thing is that they are ending Nokia’s long standing relationship with Windows Phone and launching an Android One based smartphone.

It is true that Nokia’s former glory is no more, but even after that some of the smartphones made by HMD have received wide acclaim from the customers. Moreover, some groundbreaking innovations in smartphones like Bothi, 3D Azo Audio or Penta camera still set Nokia apart from others.

The good news for Nokia fans is that they will be releasing some of their new phones at an event on June 7th. A unique feature of HMD Global is that they host every event of their smartphone launch in a different city. This time their event will be in a city in Italy.

In a Twitter message, they announced their 7th event, but did not say which phones would be released naturally. However, the idea is that the global version of the recently released Nokia X71 in Taiwan may come to the event.

Moreover, rumors are coming that Nokia 7.2 and Nokia 2.2 are coming. Also, the new version of Nokia’s classic feature phone will not be a surprise.
