Opera has announced that their web browsers will be more user-friendly and energy efficient. It can increase the battery backup time of the laptop by about 50% in its own power saving mode. That means you can spend an extra few hours browsing in Opera Power Saving mode.

New to Opera In the developer version These benefits will be available. The developer version will have specific options to control the background tab activity and video playback. According to Opera Test, you can surf the web on Windows 10 laptops for 3 hours more than the previous version of Opera and Google Chrome.

The relationship between battery backup and browser actually depends on a number of factors. For example, the power of the device you are using, the weight of the page you are visiting, etc. And the power optimization of such browsers is not new.
