If you are a regular reader of our site, you must know that a few days ago Apo released their under display camera teaser on Twitter. There is also a prototype video.

Finally, they showcased the new technology at an official event at this year’s Mobile World Congress in Shanghai. Not only that, they also talked about how this technology works.

At one time, only big companies like Samsung or Apple could be seen researching new technologies. But now times have changed a lot. Many emerging Chinese companies are devoting a lot of time to research and development.

As a result, Apo has come up with the world’s first prototype phone with an under-display camera. This is undoubtedly a huge advancement for the technology world.

For the past few years, companies have been competing on how to add large displays to this small body of smartphones. This was followed by the first change in the aspect ratio of the display. Then one by one came many technologies called big notch, small notch, punchhole.

The biggest constraint on the fullview display is the front camera. And in this new under-display camera technology, the front camera will be hidden under the display which will not only be visible to the naked eye but will also act as a display at the same time. As a result, you can get a taste of real full view display on the phone.

In this technology, Apo has used a kind of custom-made semi-transparent material that allows light to enter the sensor and place the pixels of the display on top of it. Another thing is that it is working on the camera part of the touch. As a result, the new technology is being taken advantage of without any concessions.

For now, their phone is in a prototype state. Hopefully this technology will come to commercial phones soon.
