A Fake Post has spread like wildfire on various social media platforms. Seeing this, more than one woman has expressed concern. The Press Information Bureau tweeted that the information circulating on social media mentions that taking the vaccine 5 days before and 5 days after the menstrual cycle can cause problems.

The center has said, do not listen to rumors. This is completely false propaganda. Covid vaccine can be taken from the age of 18 years, after the announcement of the central government, the vaccine can cause problems in the menstrual cycle.
A lot of patients messaging me asking if it’s safe / effective to take the vaccine during their period. Some silly WhatsApp rumor has spooked everyone.
Your period has no effect on the vaccine efficacy.
