Although Xiaomi has been dominating the budget smartphone market in our subcontinent for so long, nowadays brands like Apo and Samsung are gearing up to snatch this crown. Even since last year, Apo has launched a sub-brand called Realmy just to capture the subcontinent’s entry and midrange markets. And Realmy is quite successful in this case. Realmy 3 Pro and Realmy X, which were released a few days ago, are proof of that.

However, they appeared in the middle of the budget with two more midrange phones before the realmy storm hit the market. Today they have launched their two new handsets Realmy 5 Pro and Realmy 5 in the Indian market. These are basically the successors of their Realm 3 Pro. Many people may think that the question may come after 3 Pro and not 4 Pro but 5 Pro E or why? Although Realmy does not explain, many Chinese companies are seen to be omitting the number 4. Many people say that the number 4 is considered bad in China because many companies do this.

Whatever it is, the two new phones use the same polycarbonate or plastic as before. Many customers may have expected glass in their phones this time. However, the plastic body also has some advantages. For example, it is lighter in weight and less likely to fall and break. However, this time they have used crystal pattern in the design of the back panel as seen in their Realm C2.

The price has been reduced by making some cuts in the configuration of Realm 5 between the two phones. Although it is the successor to RealMe 3, it has been given the Snapdragon chipset, excluding the MediaTek chipset used in RealMe 3. Although the Realm 5 Pro is ahead in all respects, the battery capacity is higher than the Realm5. With a 5000 mAh battery, this is the largest battery-powered Realm phone.

Four cameras have been used behind the two phones. However, there are sensory differences between the two phones. The Realm 5 Pro uses a 48-megapixel primary sensor like the Realm X, but the Realm 5 has a 12-megapixel primary sensor. In addition, the previously released Realm XA uses in-display fingerprint and pop-up selfie cameras, but these phones have the usual notched selfie camera and rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. Of course, these things may have been left out to keep it in the budget.

The phones are currently available at Indian online retailer Flipkart. From there, you can buy Realmy 5 Pro from August 26 and Realmy 5 Pro from September 4. Realm 5 starts at Rs 10,000 and Realm 5 Pro starts at Rs 14,000.
