NFR recruitment 2021: The whole country is plagued by Coronavirus today. The number of deaths is increasing by leaps and bounds every day. Hospitals, cries for oxygen in all the big and small cities of the country. The North-East Frontier Railway or the North East Frontier Railway has recently issued a doctor’s notice to be ready to handle the patient’s stress in this situation.
The posts of Opthalmologist and General Duty Medical Officer in this zone of Indian Railways will be filled on contract basis. Alipurduar Division of North-East Frontier Railway will have one opthalmologist and 10 doctors as General Duty Medical Officer. A total of 11 vacancies will be filled. However, the number of vacancies may be changed as required by the Railways.

The Railway Board will conduct recruitment interviews for these posts from 11 am on 11 May 2021. The interview will be conducted in the office of the Divisional Railway Manager (Personnel) at Alipurduar.

Educational Qualifications

OpthalmologistCandidates for the post of Opthalmologist must have MBBS degree as well as post graduate degree or diploma degree in eye related subject. The doctor also needs to have the validity of the Indian Medical Council.
General Duty Medical OfficerCandidates for this post must have MBBS degree from any educational institution recognized by Indian Medical Council or valid registration certificate of Medical Council of any State after one year internship.
