IBPS RRB PO-Clerk Recruitment 2021: One government job test after another is falling behind in the Corona epidemic. But the good news! Institute of Banking Personnel Selection or IBPS Grameen Bank has started the process of accepting applications for the post of PO and Clerk. Through this examination, staff will be recruited for the posts of Officer Scale-1 (PO), Office Assistant- Multipurpose (Clerk) and Scale II and Scale III. Candidates can apply for this exam from 8th June to 28th June. Candidates who have passed this test will be recruited in a total of 43 Grameen Banks spread across the country. Interested candidates can submit this application online only. This test will be in two parts, Preliminary and Mains. However, the form will be filled only once by the candidate.
The exams will be held on August 1, 7, 8, 14 and 21, according to the IBPS 2021 calendar. The test will be taken online only. All the candidates who will pass the Preliminary Examination will be given the opportunity to sit for the Mains Examination. Mains exam for PO post is scheduled for 25th September and Mains exam for Clark post is scheduled for 3rd October. There will also be a single test for Scale II and III positions. This test will also be taken on 25th September.

Educational Qualifications
Candidates appearing for the exam must have a minimum bachelor’s degree from any recognized university.

Total number of vacancies
A total of 10,368 vacancies will be filled. Of these, 5134 are in the post of Office Assistant (Multipurpose), 3922 in the post of Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager), 906 in the post of Officer Scale-II (General Banking Officer (Manager)), 59 in the post of Officer Scale-II (Information Technology Officer). Officer Scale-II (Chartered Accountant) 32 people, Officer Scale-II (Law Officer) 27 people, Officer Scale-II (Treasury Manager) 10 people, Officer Scale-II (Marketing Officer) 43 people, Officer Scale -II (Agriculture Officer) will have 25 staff and Officer Scale-III will have 210 staff.

Work experience

  • Office Assistant – No work experience required.
  • Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager) – No work experience required.
  • Officer Scale-II General Banking Officer (Manager) – Two years experience working as an officer in a bank or financial institution.
  • Officer Scale-II Specialist Officers (Manager) Information Technology Officer – 1 year working experience in the relevant department.
  • Chartered Accountant – One year work experience in related field
  • Law Officer – Two years working experience as a lawyer or working as a Law Officer in a bank or financial institution.
  • Treasury Manager – 1 year work experience in related field
  • Marketing Officer – 1 year work experience in related field
  • Agricultural Officer – 5 years working experience in a bank or financial institution.

Upper age limit

  1. Office Assistant (Multipurpose) – Candidates must be between 18 and 28 years of age.
  2. Officer Scale- III (Senior Manager) – Candidates must be above 21 years of age and under 40 years of age.
  3. Officer Scale- II (Manager) – Candidates must be above 21 years of age and under 32 years of age.
  4. Officer Scale- I (Assistant Manager) – Candidates must be over 18 years of age and under 30 years of age.
