West Bengal Government Jobs: Lockdown is underway across the state to prevent the onset of the second wave of coronavirus. But in the meantime, there is good news for job seekers. The office of the Chief Health Officer of Howrah District has recently issued recruitment notices for several posts. Staff Nurse, Lab Technician and many more will be recruited. A total of 350 vacancies will be filled, the notification said. Applicants must keep in mind that they will be recruited only for Covid-19 related activities. Eligible candidates will be selected through interviews. Interested and eligible candidates are directed to be present for the interview on 31st May.

Educational Qualifications
MT (CC) / MT (OT) / Laboratory Technician: – Applicants for this post must have passed at least Higher Secondary Examination in Physics, Chemistry and Life Sciences. After that you have to do at least 2 years diploma course on medical technology.

Staff Nurse: – Candidates applying for this post must have passed GNM / B.Sc (Nursing) from at least Higher Secondary and with a recognized educational institution or university.

A salary of Rs. 17,220 / – has been fixed for all the posts.

Interview
Eligible candidates will be present for the interview on 31st May at 11 am along with all their documents and their photocopies. This appointment will be made for the next two months to cope with the increasing patient stress due to the Covid-19 situation.
