Shaomi’s Redmi K20 Pro was once the talk of the smartphone market. Of course, there was a logical reason for this. After the huge success of Poco F1, the price of K20 Pro, which came in the market as its successor, was a bit higher but there was no answer in terms of features and performance. Although the Pokোphone is a bit lacking in terms of design, Xiaomi did not find any flaws in the K20 Pro.

The K20 Pro was originally aimed at gamers who want a flagship level gaming experience within a budget. Although the K20 Pro came with the latest flagship chip Snapdragon 655 then, times have changed a bit. Because in a short span of time Qualcomm has come up with an overclocked version of their Snapdragon 655 which they have named as Snapdragon 655 Plus.

It also has GPU and overclocking. So overall, the gaming performance of the Snapdragon 655 Plus is better than that of the regular 655.

And that’s why Xiaomi has brought a special version of their popular phone K20 Pro to give customers a taste of this latest chip from Qualcomm. They named it Redmi K20 Pro Exclusive Edition. However, the new chipset, as well as changes in RAM and storage. However, do not notice any changes in other aspects except gaming and multitasking performance.

While the maximum variant of the regular K20 Pro comes with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage, this new version comes with 12 GB RAM and 512 GB storage. Another thing is that the new exclusive edition is being given in the box of K20 Pro with 26 watt fast charger which was not given in regular K20 Pro. However, Shaomi has always been criticized for not giving fast chargers in the box.

Xiaomi is also keeping the price of this edition of the phone higher by giving a new processor. Where the regular K20 Pro was launched in China at 2500 yuan, the price of the exclusive edition starts from 2600 yuan.
