Own report: The single dose of Sputnik V-Ticker is going to be launched in India very soon. The government has instructed the Russian manufacturer of the vaccine and its Indian partner to expedite the process of scrutinizing the application. The Center is taking this decision to speed up the country’s mass immunization program.

According to sources, the Sputnik V Light Ticker (Sputnik V Light) application for approval will be filed in a few weeks. Sputnik Lite is going to be the first single dose corona vaccine in India. Last week, a meeting was held between officials of the Union Ministry of Health, representatives of the Ministry of External Affairs, the Central Drug Regulatory Authority and the corona vaccine manufacturers in India for speedy approval of Sputnik Light.

Manufacturers do not feel comfortable with the use of Adenovirus Type-5, a double-dose ingredient in Sputnik Five. With the approval of Sputnik Light, that problem will be solved a lot. It was also mentioned in the meeting that India had received 6 lakh double dose vaccine of Sputnik Five imported from Russia in May. Vaccination of Sputnik Five has also started. After that, India will get 10 million doses in June this year. About 27 million doses will be available in July, of which 4 million will be made in India.
