Every day, millions of tiny particles of plastic are unknowingly entering people’s stomachs from food packets, bottles, tea bags and other materials. These plastic particles are harmful to baby’s health.
An Irish study claims that an average of 1.7 million plastic particles enter a baby’s stomach every day through the bottle that feeds the baby.
Researchers in Ireland have studied 10 types of bottles and equipment made from polypropylene used for feeding babies. The 21-day trial was conducted using the World Health Organization’s sterilization formula.
It found that between 1.3 million and 1.72 million plastic particles per liter of water were mixed in bottles and equipment during this period. Although research has been done on the trend of bottle feeding in the country, later the global picture was painted through it.
According to an article published in the journal Nature Food, every child in the world who is bottle-fed consumes an average of 1.7 million plastic particles daily.
Evidence has been found that at a temperature of 25 to 95 degrees Celsius, six to five crore 50 lakh plastic particles are dispersed per liter. Its horror is more in developed countries. An average of 2.3 million children eat plastic particles every day in North America and 2.8 million in Europe.
Researchers at Trinity College Dublin say one of the aims of the study was to educate parents about the issue.
They also do not know the effects of eating plastic particles on the body of children. This requires detailed research.
