A preliminary study has found that the Corona vaccine, developed by Pfizer and Modern, is effective against two variants in India. However, this is not yet a final study. Because it has not yet been published in the Peer Review Journal.
The new lab-based study was conducted by the NYU Grossman School of Medicine and the NYU Langone Center in the United States. News AFP.
On Monday, Nathaniel Landao, senior author of the study, said: “We found that the antibodies in vaccines are somewhat weaker against these variants, but not so much that they weaken the immunity of these vaccines.”
Researchers have found that the modern and Pfizer vaccines are the first to be identified in India against the B1.617 and B1.617 variants. “Our results show that the current vaccine is able to protect against all the variants that have been identified so far,” said Nathaniel Landao.
