I am renting a car from Malbazar for fifteen hundred rupees to Rocky Island. Doors I was fascinated to see the hidden places of Garubathan, Neora Valley in the adjoining Kalimpong, so the last address of the tour today, Rocky Island, did not attract me much. The last destination is Rocky Island. The car stopped on an iron bridge. I panicked when I saw Rocky’s ugly face with sleeping eyes.

What a terrible form it is, there is an iron bridge, the hill is falling on the big rocks from that river and it is flowing at a fast speed, this is the idol river. No one will get up on a rock by mistake. We reached Rocky Island in an hour and a half through Metley, Small Fagu, Big Fagu. There is a homestay. Stay here for 750 to 1000 days per person. Rocky Island looks terrible in the rain. We were lucky enough to see Rocky Island coming out of the untimely rain and I bowed to God standing there.

You may not be able to swim in that mighty current, but you will never know when that naughty river has soaked your whole body with its cool touch. Those who have seen Dwars in the rain are the only ones who have fallen in love with Dwars. Doors with jungles, hills, waterfalls and openings. Playing hide and seek with the fog in winter, painting with green in the rain, flying in the blue sky in autumn. Doors are a symbol of new youth to me.

How to go
It takes about an hour by car from Malbazar station to Rocky Island.
Rocky Island is surrounded by samsingh, chapramari, garumara naxal anise, lataguri forest, murti nadi, damdim, dalgaon, bindu, paren, jaldhaka, kumai.
