Dr Randeep Guleria, director of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS), said special caution should be exercised in such situations. The number of false negative reports has increased. Dr. Guleria, a member of the Covid-19 Central Task Force and director of AIIMS, said that if Covid’s symptoms became negative after the corona report was negative, they should be treated under the Corona protocol. Rapid antigen test (RAT) or RTPCR test, so far these two have been corona detection weapons. Not so with the new strain. It is seen that the report is negative. After going home, the patient got fever again. Numerous such patients have already been found in Gujarat.

The head of AIIMS said doctors should make a radiological diagnosis in this case. If CT scans show signs of corona, treatment should be started under the Covid protocol. These include nausea, fatigue, fever and runny nose, sore throat, diarrhea.

Why is the number of negatives increasing?

Many are complaining that the RT-PCR report is wrong. Corona also has this problem due to incorrect sampling method. Samples are not being stored properly. That is why the report is coming negative. In addition, experts say that the RT-PCR report may be inaccurate due to the second strain of the virus. The body’s immune system is unable to detect the double mutant virus, which is why the infection is spreading so fast.
