Several new products at the ongoing International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, USA Announced Samsung. These include the new ‘Pro’ models of the Galaxy Tab and Galaxy Note tablets. These are primarily designed with multitasking and productivity in mind.Samsung Three different sized versions of the Galaxy Tab Pro are available. These are 6.4 inches, 10.1 inches and 12.2 inches – although the Galaxy Note Pro will only come with a screen size of 12.2 inches.
These four newer tablet devices have a 2560 x 1600 pixel display, Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, WiFi and LTE options. You will find an 8 megapixel camera on the back side and a 2 megapixel webcam on the front side.
Understandably, Samsung wants to reduce the gap between laptops and tablet computers with these latest tabs. The Galaxy Note Pro and the 12.2-inch Galaxy Tab Pro add a new four-pan multiwindo multitasking feature. This allows multitasking in a multi-layered pop-up window. You will also get the facility to resize the pans as you wish.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 inch version has 246 ppi LCD capacitive touchscreen, 2.3 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, 3 GB RAM, 32-64 GB internal storage, WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth etc.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 inch version will get 299 ppi LCD capacitive touch display, 2.3 GHz Snapdragon 600 CPU, 2 GB RAM, 32-64 GB internal space, 6220 mAh battery etc. The 6.4-inch screen variant of the device has the same CPU, RAM, storage configuration with 359 ppi display, 4800 mAh battery, etc.
The Samsung Galaxy Note Pro and Tab Pro 12.2 inch versions will have the same basic features like screen, CEPU, RAM, battery, camera etc. Bundled S Pen Accessory has been given as a bonus.
With these Pro Smart devices, Samsung is going to launch new Bluetooth mouse and keyboard. However, neither the price nor the exact date of sale has been announced. It is expected that these new devices will be launched in the current quarter.
