Samsung is bringing an AI-powered invisible keyboard for the phone

We now use phones more than ever before. However, this process is much slower when typing emails or long messages on the phone. Samsung has come up with a solution to this problem. Samsung is building an invisible keyboard that can track hands using AI and phone cameras.

The name of this invisible keyboard has been given by Samsung Selfie type (SelfieType). However, it is still under testing.

It was created under Samsung’s C-Lab program. Under this program all the weird technical concepts are turned into reality. Many of these successes eventually come to market as commercial products.

Samsung has not yet commented publicly on its plans for the selfie type. But if it works properly and Samsung can market it successfully, it could turn into a hugely lucrative product for Samsung. Samsung unveiled the keyboard as a demo at CES in Las Vegas this week.

We’ve already seen invisible keyboards that can be typed using laser projection. However, in these cases, the typing is very slow and not accurate. Of course, it’s better to use a Bluetooth keyboard than to carry a laser projector around.

Since the selfie type will work using the phone’s camera, no additional gadgets will be needed. However, typing using only finger gestures still sounds very complicated. In this process, if you want to type, you have to work with your hands in one place. If the concept of this invisible keyboard as an alternative to the mechanical keyboard becomes a reality, then a new horizon will be opened for typing on the phone.
