Samsung launches first Tizen-powered smartphone

Eventually all speculations came to an end Tizen Launch of the first smartphone powered by the operating system Did Samsung. Samsung’s own OS-based handset is launching from the Indian market under the ‘Z1’ brand name.

The Samsung Z1 device will support 3G network and dual SIM cards. It has 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, 8 MB RAM, 4 GB storage, up to 64 GB SD card support etc.

The screen size of the Z1 set will be 4 inches with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. The rear camera is 3.1 megapixels and the front camera is 640 x 480 pixels.

The Samsung Z1 handset is available in white, black and wine red. You will also get a 1500 mAh battery. The set comes with 60 live TV channels and 260,000 music access.

The Samsung Z1 smartphone will go on sale in India from Wednesday, January 14, 2015. It costs only ড 90 or 5,600 Indian rupees.

Google Android Samsung has focused on Tizen OS to reduce its dependence on the operating system. However, the biggest limitation of this platform may be the app crisis. Although Samsung says Tizen works quite fast, buyers may not be interested in the app if it is not available. As it is a relatively new OS, it will take some time for Tizen to get all the widely used apps.
