Samsung launches free streaming service ‘Milk Music’

milk musicSmartphone giant Samsung launches free music streaming service ‘Milk Music’; It will be completely ad-free at first and no fee will be charged for the service. Milk Music has more than 200 radio stations and 13 million songs. It will initially only be available for Samsung Galaxy smartphones, and users in the United States will be able to enjoy the service.

Online music streaming service is very popular nowadays and many companies including Apple, Google, Microsoft are offering similar services. However, the market is not going to be easy for Samsung, which is already in a strong position with the crowd of Spotify, Pandora and iTunes Radio.

Because some of the above streaming services are available on the web as well as any smartphone. On the other hand Samsung Milk Music is only for Galaxy smartphones.

This is not the first time Samsung’s music service. Earlier in 2012, the company had launched a streaming service under the ‘Music Hub’ brand. However, it was recently closed.
