South Korean electronics giant Samsung forms a new team to work on all innovative technologies Has done. The independent group will be led by Shin Jung-kyun, head of Samsung’s mobile division, whose main tasks are research into the construction of robotics, virtual reality, 3D printing, robotic telepresence, drones and automotive vehicles.

The purpose of this team is not to get any immediate results, but Samsung is entering the field with a far-reaching goal. With profits dwindling in the face of stiff competition in the smartphone market, Samsung is now looking to pave the way for other alternative sources of income.

As well as building its position in the mobile device market, Samsung is also at the forefront of sophisticated household products. Although privacy concerns have recently been raised about the issue of voice recordings on their smart TVs, it is hoped that the Galaxy maker will be able to handle them with the right steps.
