Microsoft launches a beta version of Skype for their Windows 10 Mobile Preview users Has arrived. This experimental Skype version can now be downloaded by Windows 10 Mobile Preview users.

Users can use this app called ‘Messaging Skype Beta’ as their default SMS app. This is basically to replace the default messaging app of Windows 10 Mobile.

You can switch from the chat option to the SMS option whenever you want. Reading the details of the app, it is further learned that the default calling option of the phone can be used for Skype audio call. And you have to make video calls from Skype video app.

However, no announcement has been made by Microsoft as to when this app will be finally released. Skype will be integrated into Windows 10 PC later this year.
