State Minister for ICT Palak is dissatisfied with the medical services of Natore Sadar Hospital

State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Junaid Ahmed Palak has expressed dissatisfaction over the medical services at Natore Sadar Hospital. He expressed his displeasure at a virtual meeting on district health management to prevent corona virus on Saturday afternoon.

State Minister for ICT Palak said Natore Sadar Hospital is one of the most trusted places of treatment for most of the people in the district. Although the corona virus epidemic has been going on for more than a year, there is no medical service in this hospital. But it is possible to build a complete hospital in 13 months. At the time of the Corona virus crisis, Sadar Hospital did not yet have ICU and central oxygen supply. He called for the formation of an inquiry committee to look into the matter. He directed the committee to submit its investigation report in due course. The state minister remarked that no one would dare to neglect healthcare in future if action is taken against the culprits subject to investigation.

At the Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Health Saidur Rahman, Member of Parliament Professor Abdul Quddus, Shafiqul Islam Shimul, Shahidul Islam Bakul, Deputy Commissioner. Shahriaz, Superintendent of Police Liton Kumar Saha, Civil Surgeon Kazi Mizanur Rahman and other senior officials of the administration and people’s representatives were present.

It may be mentioned that on April 23, Jamuna Television aired a report on the disruption of medical services of Corona virus due to lack of ICU and central oxygen supply system in Natore Sadar Hospital.
