The 2014 Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) examinations to be held on November 2 and 3 have been postponed due to the strike called by Jamaat-e-Islami. According to the changed schedule, the examination on November 2 will be held on November 8 and the examination on November 3 will be held on November 14.
This information was given by the Education Secretary Md. Nazrul Islam Khan in a press briefing on Thursday (October 30) evening.
On November 2, JSC had Bangla first paper and JDC had Quran Majid and Tajbid examination. According to the new schedule, the test will be held on November 8 from 9 am to 12 noon.
On November 3, JSC’s Bangla Second Paper and JDC’s At-Tawheed Wal-Fiqh and Aqeed and Fiqh examinations were held. According to the new schedule, the Bangla Second Paper (50 Marks) examination of JSC will start at 9 am on November 14 and will end at 11 am. The JDC exam will run from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
The JSC-JDC examination of 2014 was supposed to start from November 2. About 21 lakh candidates will take part in it. Last year also, due to the strike, some examinations of JSC-JDC were postponed.
