Own report- The Center will provide a loan of Rs 4,500 crore to the country’s two vaccine companies, Seram Institute and Bharat Biotech. Increasing vaccine production in the country is the most urgent at the moment. With this in mind, the Center has decided to give loans to two companies to speed up the corona vaccination process. Of this, Rs 3,000 crore loan is being given to Adar Punawala’s company Seram Institute. This company produces the covacin vaccine. And India Biotech, which produces cove shields, will be given a loan of Rs 1,500 crore.

As the second wave of Corona swept across the country, the famine in the country has raised concerns at various levels of society. The Center has been repeatedly accused by several states of having to close vaccination centers due to lack of vaccinations. At that time, debt relief will help the country’s two companies to increase vaccine production.

According to the Seram Institute, Adar Punawala, the head of the institute, had earlier applied to the central government for a loan of Rs 3,000 crore. He argued that a large amount of money was needed to increase vaccine production capacity. Only if the Center helps with that money can the Serum Institute build the infrastructure for production. It will be possible to produce more than 100 million vaccines at a cost of 3000 crore rupees.
