The new leak says that the fingerprint sensor is coming back to the iPhone 11

Apple’s iPhones have long been known for fingerprint or “Touch ID” in their language. Through the iPhone 10, they introduced the new era of face unlocking system. However, the leaked patent document from Apple says that they are going to bring back Touch ID or fingerprint authorization in the new iPhones this year.

However, it is not going to be a capacitive fingerprint sensor like before, it is going to be the current trend in display fingerprint sensor. For many, Apple’s current face unlocking is easy. Again, many are strongly opposed to it. They think the previous Touch ID was more secure.

No one disagrees that Touch ID is more secure than Face ID. However, Apple has been able to secure their Face ID enough.

But even after that there is still a problem with Face ID. That is, a high-quality Face ID system requires several sensors in place of the front camera, which occupy a lot of space. For this reason huge notch was used in iPhone Ten or TenS.

While other companies have already come up with all-screen displays, Apple would have to look for alternatives to Face ID if it wanted to think of an all-screen display. And the idea is that this is why they will bring in-display Touch ID in the new iPhone.

However, the mechanism of Apple’s in-display fingerprint sensor will not be the same as the existing ones in the market. Instead, according to the leaked diagram of their patent document, the technology will have an optical sensor like a small pin-sized camera under the full screen. As a result, any part of the display can be unlocked by pressing.

Of course, Touch ID will come, but this does not mean that Apple Face ID will be canceled now. Maybe the new iPhone will have two options.
