But this time Google has thought a little differently. Their codename for the upcoming Android version 10.0 was Android Q. So everyone thought that maybe this time the name of the new version will be the name of a confection starting with Q.
But to everyone’s surprise, today Google officially named their Android 10.0 version after a dessert without naming it after a confectioner. Google has said that Android Q will be directly called Android 10 without any cover. And with this, Google changed the naming system of their Android OS.
However, Google did not say whether the future Android versions will be named Android 11, 12 or not. Only time will tell.
Many people may not like such naming as it seems conventional. However, Google has also put forward the reasoning behind such naming. The range of Android is currently huge.
With the advent of affordable smartphones, Android is now spreading almost everywhere in the world. Therefore, the naming system has been simplified by changing the method of naming with far-reaching thinking as many speakers have problems in naming the old system. Of course, Google’s decision is not alone. Rather, they have made this decision based on the feedback of the customers.
In addition to naming, some changes have been made in the promotional design of Android. From now on, the logo will show the top of the head without showing the whole of the Android mascot. At the same time, the color of the mascot has been changed from Tia to green. Gradually, work will start to implement the new design with Android 10.
