The rules for withdrawing money from ATMs will change! SBI warned customers in advance

Own report: From next month, State Bank of India is going to change some rules for withdrawing money from ATMs. The country’s largest bank is also going to bring new rules and charges from July 1, 2021. The new charge will be applicable for Basic Savings Bank Deposit (BSBD).

The new rules will also apply to ATM withdrawals, checkbooks and other financial transactions.

New rules and charges:

1. Anyone can open SBI Basic Savings Bank Account with valid documents. To encourage low income people in the society, SBI may keep the required minimum balance in BSBD account zero. On the other hand, there is no limit to the maximum amount that can be kept in this account.

2) ATM withdrawal chargesBSBD account holders will be able to withdraw money four times without any charge. After withdrawing money four times, new service charge will be levied. There will be a GST of 15 rupees each time.

3) Check Book ChargeSBI will now provide 10 check pages free of cost to BSBD account holders in a financial year. From then on for 10 check pages. 40 for 25 check leaves. However, senior citizens will be exempted from the charge of this check book.
