An 11-year-old boy in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China, has had his kidneys and liver donated in accordance with his wishes. The boy, named Liang Yawi, suddenly fainted one day when he was in primary school and the next day he had trouble walking. When he was taken to the hospital at the age of 9, he was diagnosed with a brain tumor.

After a two-year battle with cancer, 11-year-old Liang Yawi died on June 8. Before leaving, the teenager expressed his desire to donate his organs to his mother as a last wish.

Liang tells his mother that he should be given alms after death. At first my mother did not understand him. Liang then further explained that his limbs should be donated.

The boy says, ‘Many people in the world are doing good. They are great, I also want to be a great kid. ‘

To fulfill Liang’s last wish, his mother donated the teenager’s kidney and liver through the hospital authorities. As you can see in the picture at the beginning of the post, the doctors are paying homage to this ‘Great Kid’ with their bowed heads while taking the lifeless Liang.
