The United States Armed Forces has begun investing in new technologies that can be used to create electronic devices that can destroy themselves at work. Much like the TV show ‘Mission Impossible’ where secret messages were erased in this way.

The US Advanced Research Projects Agency, or DARPA for short, has signed a 3.5 million deal with computing giant IBM. The project, called Vanishing Programmable Resources (VAPR), will create ‘temporary’ electronic machines that can be destroyed by remote control. It will be possible.

Gazettes created through the VAPR project will be used mainly to collect various information required on the battlefield. These will be connected to a huge network and will be rich in many sensors. After the exchange of information, the devices will be destroyed immediately before they fall into the hands of the enemy.

However, Darpa believes that the same idea can be used in medicine. The medical procedure can be made easier if the necessary implants or small instruments are placed inside the human body and absorbed through the body at the end of the work.
