The aircraft will take off by the end of this year. It is 80% more environmentally friendly than any cargo plane. Its body is filled with helium gas. In the past, such ‘gaseous’ airships were lighter than air, so they had to be tied to the ground to prevent them from flying by themselves. But HAV-304 airship is an exception. The vehicle is heavy enough that it no longer has to be tied up. It weighs when it is full of gas 10 thousand kg.
The prototype or experimental version of the HAV 304 being shown in the UK can fly at speeds of up to 100 mph. The airship cost 30 million to build. The manufacturers of the aircraft are working for its further development in the future.
