Delta is a new type of coronavirus that has spread worldwide. This species of virus spreads rapidly from one person to another. Delta is a highly contagious type. Currently, the presence of this species has been identified in about 100 countries of the world including Bangladesh, according to the World Health Organization (WHO).

According to the World Health Organization, Delta will be the main form of corona worldwide in the next few weeks. In some parts of the world, Delta-type infections are on the rise and hospitalizations of infected people are on the rise. This type of corona can quickly overwhelm all other types of corona as delta infections continue to increase.

Meanwhile, a recent study found that this delta variation of the corona was found in 80 percent of infected patients in Bangladesh. Due to which the virus is spreading rapidly all over the country. The government has given a seven-day strict lockdown to prevent the infection.

A report in the Lancet published a lengthy study of the corona delta type. The research team is a team of researchers from Scotland. They found that Delta infections were exacerbating hospital admissions. They conducted research on 72,500 corona-infected patients. Younger people have not been vaccinated, they are at considerable risk. In addition, those who have any comorbidities (co-morbidities), or those who are older, have a higher risk of delta infection than others.

The researchers said that at least 52,622 of the 72,500 corona patients did not receive the vaccine. In addition, there were more than 20,000 coronary heart disease patients who received only one dose of the vaccine. In addition, 6,200 people became infected with corona after taking two doses of the vaccine. Research has shown that no corona vaccine is 100% effective.
