Sauptik Banerjee: Every year millions of people around the world are infected with this disease (desease). Inadvertently infects so many people. It’s not that there is a lot of treatment. This is fatal. But no, it is not news. Not even in the headlines. It is a metastatic tumor. This is what Venugopal G, a neurosurgeon at Yashoda Hospital in Hyderabad says.

Says Venugopal G. ‘A brain tumor, also known as an intracranial tumor, is an abnormal mass of tissues where cells grow uncontrollably and multiply. Normal cells cannot be apparently examined by regulatory mechanisms. More than 150 different brain tumors have been documented, but the two main groups of brain tumors are referred to as primary and metastatic.

“Early brain tumors include tumors that originate from brain tissue or tissues surrounding the brain,” he said. Primary tumors are classified as glial (consisting of glial cells) or non-glial (occurring in the structure of the brain, including nerves, blood vessels, and glands) and benign or malignant. Metastatic brain tumors include tumors that grow elsewhere in the body (such as the breast or lungs) and migrate to the brain, usually through the bloodstream. Metastatic tumors are considered cancer and are malignant.

“Metastatic tumors in the brain affect about one in four patients with cancer, or an estimated 150,000 people each year,” he said. About 40 percent of people with lung cancer will develop metastatic brain tumors. In the past, the results were very poor for patients diagnosed with these tumors, with a normal survival rate of only a few weeks. Innovative surgical and radiation procedures, as well as more sophisticated diagnostic equipment, have helped to extend the survival rate year after year; And allows patients to lead a better quality of life after diagnosis. ‘

Every year June 8 is celebrated as World Brain Tumor Day. The aim of this day is to raise awareness and education among the people. This day is celebrated by doctors, health workers and scientists mainly for the patients suffering from brain tumors and their families.

The purpose of the German brain tumor association was to find infected patients and cure brain tumors. The association was committed to encouraging research on brain tumors and spreading that knowledge around the world. They declared June 8 as World Brain Tumor Day.

The symptoms of a brain tumor are: Headache. After waking up in the morning, the headache is severe. 2. There may also be nausea. 3. Vision can be blurred. 4. The limbs of the mouth may become weak. 5. There may be problems with brain activity. . Memory disturbance can be 6. Reading and writing can be a problem. . Swallowing food can cause problems. 9. Red-blue-purple…! It’s hard to find news without ‘color’. Which news is ‘eating’? Is that the last word? Or the real truth is the name ‘news’!

Running after ‘breaking’ and prime time, real journalism is stuck on the wall. Journalists with their hands tied in red eyes and money.

However, we do not believe in adding color to the fourth pillar of democracy. And you can bring him back from the brink of death. Isn’t the ‘fake’ badge going on in the free news across the social wall? In fact, nothing in the world is ‘free’. So, even a penny you give can provide oxygen. Your small donation is also valuable in the interest of independent journalism. Stay tuned.
