Earlier, however, Xiaomi had given MIUI 12 update to their Poco X2 model. Many Redmi Note 9 Pro users have also tweeted that they have received updates.

Let’s see what changes will come after getting MIUI 12 update.

1. Interface: The new update comes with system wide animation and visualization. The app drawer will be able to sort them by category of applications in the user interface. Also from now on the dark mode of the phone will be able to be adjusted automatically according to the ambient light. The new update will enable the phone’s Calendar app to give card users a more advanced design for every important event. With the Super Wallpaper feature, images of Planetary Landform Reconstruction can now be set on the lock screen, home screen and wallpaper with the help of NASA’s official imagery on MIUI12.

2. Floating Windows: Floating Windows is one of the other smart features of MIUI12 for multitasking. It now allows users to handle different windows at the same time. As a result, the difficulty of repeatedly switching between different apps is no longer there. Users can move, close and resize these windows at will with the help of gestures. For example, if a text message arrives while watching a video on the phone. Then you can reply through floating window without pausing the video There is also a facility to minimize the window by dragging it from the corner of the screen Once tapped, the window will move again and double tap will make it fullscreen again.

3. Privacy: With the MIUI12 update, users will now be able to delete location tags and metadata before sharing a photo with anyone. This feature also allows you to automatically delete a screenshot from the phone after sharing it.

4. Optimization: The new update has Ultra Battery Saving mode. Through which the standby time of the battery can be increased by reducing the power consumption. Xiaomi claims that even if the phone has a 5 percent charge, the phone can be kept in Ultra Battery Saving mode for an additional five hours.

5. Casting: With this new update comes the built-in casting tool. That said, it is capable of working with phone videos, games, images, files and even applications. There is also a private casting mode where there will be no private notifications or information popups. Users will also be able to use other phone apps at the same time by minimizing the casting window.

. Magic clone: Exclusive with MIUI12 allows you to create your own virtual clone image or video. This feature is available in the ‘more’ option in MIUI12 camera mode. With the help of this, a picture of an object or a person can be placed in the same frame and its photo can be captured up to four times in different positions. With the update, Vlog mode and AI watermark options are also coming to the camera of M10 and other Shaomi phones.
