However, the World Health Organization has banned the use of this drug arbitrarily. What is ivermectin?
Ivermectin is used to prevent parasitic infections. This drug has been used since 1980. These drugs are mainly available in the form of creams or lotions. However, ivermectin has been approved as a tablet by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA). This drug is used in the treatment of intestinal stryloidosis and onchocerciasis (river blindness). Doctors also use this drug to reduce itching. However, the FDA has not approved this drug for coronary prevention.

Take this tablet once a day on an empty stomach. If the fever is not under control, this medicine can be taken for 3 to 5 days. But you don’t need to take much medicine. ” Meanwhile, the Goa government has asked those above 18 years of age to take this medicine. State Health Minister Biswajit Rane said the drug could not prevent corona. But helps to reduce its incidence. In countries such as Britain, the United States, Japan and Germany, the drug has been shown to reduce mortality. Corona infections are also much less. Indian Medical Association (IMA) said. Binayak Buvaji again said that there is no benefit in playing ivermectin for only 5 days. These tablets should be taken on the first, third and seventh day. Then take the dose once a week. Those with a body weight of less than 60 kg are advised to take 12 mg tablets and those weighing more than 60 kg are advised to take 16 mg tablets. Meanwhile, Soumya Swaminathan, chief scientist at the World Health Organization, tweeted: “Safety and effectiveness are crucial for any new drug. The World Health Organization does not approve of the application of ivermectin without a clinical trial. ” The same goes for the German health and science institute Mark.

Side effects of ivermectin
The FDA says the drug has some side effects. Notable among these are skin rash, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, swelling in the mouth or any part of the body, neurological problems – such as dizziness, convulsions, etc., decreased blood pressure, skin rashes, etc. Liver problems can also occur. Experts said that if these are excessive, they will have to be admitted to the hospital.
