The central government has termed Delta Plus as a ‘variant of concern’. Evidence of this species has already been found in several states of the country.

Delta variant i.e. B.1.617.2, which was first found in India, then gradually spread to other countries. As a result, the whole world is worried about this form of the virus. Delta Plus has been created by changing the virus form from Delta. Its traces have already been found in Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Kerala. Evidence of Delta Plus has also been found in several other countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, and Switzerland.

Symptoms of Delta Plus variant may include dry cough, fever, fatigue, sore throat, shortness of breath, loss of taste and smell, skin rash, diarrhea, chest pain, headache, joint pain, vomiting. Feelings, loss of appetite, abdominal pain, discoloration of toes, etc. Researchers are still struggling to gather enough evidence before reaching the final conclusions about the effectiveness of this new variant. Research on this is still ongoing. Researchers are also trying to find the main difference between the Covid-19 and the Delta Plus.
