In this regard, Dhaka Medical College (DMC) Hospital gynecologist and obstetrician Dr. Dina Laila Hossain said that white discharge or leukorrhea is a common and normal process in women. It is excreted from the vagina without the risk of any other disease. Depending on a woman’s menstrual cycle, her normal discharge, color, amount and density. Discharge is a clear fluid that keeps the vagina moist and slippery and prevents bacterial infections in the vagina. God has naturally given white discharge to keep the sex moist. Hormonal levels vary from adulthood to adulthood in a woman’s life.
Dr. Dina Laila Hossain said that the amount, quality and type of discharge changes in a woman’s mental state from the first day of menstruation to the next menstrual period. As such, different types of white discharge occur from time to time. Thus leukorrhea is a normal condition of women. No separate treatment is required for this.
“However, if someone is having excessive or abnormal discharge and daily life is being disrupted, doctors should be consulted,” he said. We usually know a few things about treatment. These include whether there are any bad symptoms due to white discharge, what color it is, the amount of fluid, the speed of frequent urination and whether there is burning sensation in the urine etc. Treatment is given depending on the patient’s answer to these questions.
But again, there is nothing to worry about. With few exceptions it is a very natural process. Not all people have the same genetic makeup. As a result, the discharge may be less. There is nothing to fear about this.
