Although some flagship phones nowadays come with a certain level of water resistance, traditionally mobile phones are kept away from water. Water and mobile phones have a lot of “da-kumra” national relationship. Of course, this applies to all types of electronics. Even submarines that go underwater are made as waterproof. So, let’s not sing Shiva’s song to pretend to be rice, let’s come back to the real word.

What should you do if your mobile phone is not waterproof and suddenly gets wet or falls into the water? Let’s find out the answer to this question.

Turn off the phone

Did you hear that song of James “I did not fall in love, love fell on me”? It could be that way. Whether the mobile phone falls into the water or the water falls on the phone – whatever it is, turn off the phone immediately. And if it is attached to the charger, then there is no question. Immediately disconnect from the charger. Don’t forget to charge the phone while it is wet.

If your phone is an older model, you may have the option to remove the battery. In that case, remove the battery.

The fastest damage to the phone for water is that the water shortens the circuits on the phone’s motherboard. This means “short circuit”. If you are a science student you must know what a short circuit is. Even being a student of another department Short circuit If you have an idea about the thing then it is your credit. This happens if electricity is flowing on your phone while it is wet. (There could be many more reasons). To avoid short circuit in wet phone, it is best to turn off the phone and remove the battery.

Wash the phone

Don’t be confused by the title. Only do this when your phone falls into the sea or a bowl of soup. Because sea salt water contains a lot of salt which can damage the motherboard of your phone. So quickly rinse the phone with clean running water. However, be careful. If not, it can be counterproductive. And don’t forget to take water in the bowl and dip it in it.

Not shaking with the phone at all

Many people are scared and want to get the water out of the water by moving or shaking it. Don’t forget to do this. If you shake it upside down, the water will not come out, but the water may go deeper inside.

Can use silica gel

Many times we throw away the silica gel found in the box of the tablet. If left unmanaged, they can be left astray and lose the right path. Silica gel is a very nice drying agent and it absorbs moisture quickly. And you can leave the phone on a towel or tissue paper while waiting for it to dry.

Don’t forget the hair dryer or the oven
Many people use hair dryers to dry their phones. But if you do it with clumsy hands, the heat of the hair dryer can damage your phone. And don’t forget to put the phone in the microwave oven like a fool and try to dry it so as not to throw the phone in the dustbin!

Wait for it to dry

Wait for your phone to dry. It is advisable not to keep it in direct sunlight. If you have hardware geek type and have home appliances, you can open the parts of the phone and let them dry separately.

Run to the service center

If you can’t do that, switch off the phone without sitting down, turn off the battery (if possible) and go straight to the service center or to the mobile repair shop. Don’t waste any time. If you are not unlucky enough, your phone will continue to run as before.
