Instant messaging services like WhatsApp do not have the option to log out, so one has to put one’s phone in danger. WhatsApp can be locked though with a third party app. But for a long time, WhatsApp users have been asking for the native app locking feature.

WhatsApp authorities have finally added this feature to their latest beta version. This feature allows users to lock their WhatsApp via fingerprint. As a result, you need to use your phone’s fingerprint scanner every time you log in to WhatsApp.

However, this feature will be turned off by default. If you want, you can turn on the feature by going to the privacy settings option from the settings. The feature for now WhatsApp Beta v2.19.221 Available at WhatsApp did not say when the feature will be available as a stable version for all customers. Hopefully everyone will get the feature very soon. Earlier, iPhone users used to get the facility to lock WhatsApp using their FaceID.
