On your old desktop or laptop, Windows XP, Windows 7, and even Windows 8 to Windows 10, Microsoft’s operating system so far may be running well.
Everything from the excellent performance of Windows 7 to the current version of Windows 10 is running on your favorite old PC. But that day is probably coming to an end.
Because, Microsoft is increasing the system requirement of Windows 10. OST will soon need a little more RAM to run.
Microsoft will release a major update to Windows 10 in late July (Anniversary Update), which requires at least 2 GB of RAM installed on the computer to run.
Before that, to run Windows 10, 32 bit system had to have at least 1 GB and 64 bit at least 2 GB RAM.
But then both 32 bit and 64 bit systems will need at least 2 GB of RAM. That is what Microsoft is saying Developer page.
And the storage capacity is at least 16 GB for 32 bits and 20 GB for 64 bits.
