The megapixels of the camera are not everything. Much more depends on good photography. Even after that, more megapixels will not make you anything but a disadvantage. A higher megapixel camera means you will get more details in the picture so that even if you zoom in, the picture will not burst.

Xiaomi recently released a graphical teaser on social media showing some things written in Chinese and 6400 meaning 64 megapixel macra hints in English. Moreover, by zooming a picture of a cat near the eye, a lot of detail has been indicated. They mean that Xiaomi is working with a phone with a 64 megapixel camera.

However, they have not yet said which company owns the camera sensor. As far as the idea is concerned, it is Samsung’s GW1 sensor. No phone with this sensor has hit the market yet. It is heard that Realm is working with a phone with a 64 megapixel sensor.

Samsung’s sensor is their Isosel technology sensor which will actually work as a 16 megapixel sensor in low light and 64 megapixel sensor in bright light outside.
