Xiaomi has opened a research and development center in Finland to strengthen its position in the European market. Here, research will be done on the new technology of smartphone camera. Finland is a well-known name in the technology world. The one-time smartphone giant Nokia also belongs to Finland. Interestingly, their R&D center is located in the city of Tampere, where Nokia’s Camera R&D center was also located. Excellent camera phones like Nokia 808 PureView, Nokia 1020 are the result of this research.
However, after the sale to Microsoft, Nokia’s camera research center is no more. However, a few days ago, another Chinese giant Huawei made that building its own camera research and development center with the old employees of Nokia’s camera sector. This time Shaomi walked that path.
In terms of performance, Xiaomi gave the best at a low price, but their camera was never ahamari. And for all these reasons, they have chosen Finland, known as the land of camera technology for camera smartphones, for the new R&D center. Maybe Shaomi, like the Huawei with its talented Finnish staff, is going to get back on camera soon.
