Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro Review

One week after buying the Note 7 Pro, today I will share my user experience for a few days. As a bonus, there are some nice photos of this device taken by hand.

Performance

First come the performance sector. My unit is 8/126 GB variant. With 6 GB RAM, I got better performance as expected while running multitasking and heavy apps. Butter smooth performance in a word. However, Chinese ROM is full of blotware, otherwise my overall performance would be better. Processor 11 nanometer Snapdragon 85, so everything was fast and furious!

The camera

Rear camera is outstanding considering the budget. This is probably the best aspect of this phone. And if anything doesn’t satisfy you, at least the camera department will get your money’s worth. All the nice pictures can be taken using the default camera’s night mode or pro mode manual functions. On top of that there is built-in Google camera support.

If you can take great pictures with the default camera, then guess what can happen if you use Google camera. I’ve heard a lot of negatives about selfie cameras, but I didn’t mind. I didn’t take selfies, so I didn’t do much experimentation. I am satisfied with what I saw.

Display

First of all, I don’t like IPS displays at all. I’ve been using Samsung’s Super AMOLED display for a long time since 2014, and since then no IPS display has been able to fill my mind, not even the iPhone 7. No matter how good the IPS is, comparing it with Emoled is simple.

At this point, I didn’t expect much from the Note 7 Pro’s IPS display. However, if you can get rid of the Emoled issue, you will not be dissatisfied with the display of the Note 7 Pro. I have to say quite well as IPS.

Gaming

I’m not a gamer. Not that I don’t play games occasionally, but I haven’t installed any games on this phone yet. So I can’t say anything about gaming performance.

However, if the performance is not as expected, I think it is a temporary problem. The software on this phone is still in its infancy. There will be official software updates for at least the next two years, and with each update there will be an improvement in performance and there is no doubt that the optimization will be better day by day.

Sound

Loud and clear. Everything is OK.

Outlook and design

Everyone knows about it, so I don’t think I need to say more. In a word, this is the best premium looking device in midrange. The most attractive aspect of this phone is its almost flagship level design and premium body. The downside, however, is that the camera bumps – which come out very dangerously – are likely to get hurt there, unless you use the phone very carefully. So be careful!

Durability

Since glass is on both sides, it must be used very carefully. The durability seemed good. Sometimes it will survive if it falls from the hand and sometimes it may break, the whole matter depends on which angle and from what height and on what it fell. Since you have no hands on these things, there is no substitute for using them carefully. If you can’t do that, then an extra back cover must!

Battery

I haven’t started heavy use like that yet. 2-3 days of comfortable use is going to be comfortable. SOT is available for about 8-9 hours. In a word, I got exactly as much as I expected SOT as 4000mah – neither more nor less. However, after buying the Chinese version, I got a 16 watt fast charger in the box. I bought the Chinese variant mainly for this. The thing is working. It takes a little over an hour and a half to be fully charged.

Software

I bought the Chinese rum knowing that it is not suitable for use outside of China. Because I will give a custom MIUI flash by unlocking it. Bootloader Unlock Permission has not been granted so far, so I have to use Chinese ROM for now. And that’s not a good experience. Although there are less bugs in China ROM, there is still a lot missing in China ROM.

The language of different apps is Chinese, GPS problem, lots of Azaira Blotware, missing useful apps from Google – the only solution to these problems – global or custom MIUI flash. I will flash miui eu, it is more global than global and a perfect rom.

Those who do not know how to change the ROM or do not want to go to these troubles, they will not buy the Chinese variant of the phone, but the Indian will be better. And for those who can give their own ROM flash, China is the best.

So which will be the best around 25 thousand rupees? Note 7 Pro, Poco or A50? It depends on the type of user.

Of course, both the Note 7 Pro and the A50 lag far behind the Pokোphone. But the difference is only in gaming or loading huge apps. Thus it is difficult to understand the difference in general use. The Note 7 Pro and A50 are both more than enough for daily routine use. Both the phones are offering great things in midrange.

The A50 is not backward at all. Plastic body does not matter, all are equal if the cover is attached. And in terms of display, it’s the boss of all midrange phones. For those who use smartphones mainly to watch movies and YouTube videos, A50 may be the best choice for them. However, if there is anything called a perfect package in the combination of everything, it is the Note 7 Pro. In short, Pokোphone If the best mid-range batsman, then the Note 7 Pro is the best mid-range all-rounder!
