Own report: Multiple shortcomings have been observed in the oxygen distribution system. Each deficiency was identified by the health department. Notice has been issued accordingly. Where to take action, who should take responsibility, all the points are mentioned in the notice.

The team that was formed to see if the oxygen supply was working properly, the members of the team visited various hospitals and monitored the problems of oxygen supply.

1) After supplying D-type oxygen, the pressure is checked and the information is not kept in the register.

2) The pressure of the classified cylinder should be recorded in the Manifold Room. You also need to know how long oxygen is being used. Hospital authorities should monitor the matter at least 3 times a day.

4) Similarly, if it is suddenly seen that the patient needs oxygen, the patient is being given 8 liters of oxygen per minute through face mask. But even then his oxygen level is 90 percent. In that case the level of oxygen application should be increased. In some cases not being monitored.

  • Nurses, attending physicians and health workers must also take responsibility for this.

5) Judging by the oxygen device is not being used. Oxygen Therapy Vide memo no. N / 845 26.04.2021 issued guidelines are not being strictly followed.

6) Documents of B and D type oxygen cylinders are not being uploaded on Oxygen Flow Meter portal.
